1. Why Bulgaria? 

Answer: Bulgaria is a wonderful country with beautiful nature,clean air,green and peaceful countryside. You will find that the lifestyle here is quite inexpensive. The location on the Black sea makes the climate very attractive.

2. Where is Bulgaria?  

Answer: Bulgaria is a country of about 8 million people located in the southeastern part of Europe, in the Balkan Peninsula, sharing borders with Romania, Jugoslavia, Macedonia, Greece and Turkey.

3. How do I get there? 

Answer: The easiest way to reach Bulgaria is by air with direct or indirect flights from all over the world. In the summer there are charter flights directly to Varna and Bourgas.

4. What is the weather like in Bulgaria? 

Answer: Bulgaria has a gentle continental climate, with long, hot, dry summers and cold winters with excellent conditions for ski. It's usually windy and rainy in autumn, clearly marked four seasons.

5. Do I need visa? 

Answer: All visitors to Bulgaria require full (not visitors') passport, although citizens of most Western countries no longer need a visa to enter the country. However, as the rules change every year, it's wise to check with a Bulgarian Embassy or Consulate whatever your nationality. All visitors are required to register as a foreigner within 48 hours of arrival. If you are staying in a hotel, campsite, hostel or private room, rented through an agency, then the job of registration should be done for you by your hosts.

6. Can foreigners buy property in Bulgaria? 

Answer: Foreigners can buy appartments in Bulgaria. For the purchase of plots and houses with land you need to register a company and then the company can buy as a Bulgarian legal person the property.

7. How do I register a company? 

Answer: The whole procedure takes about 14 working days. The necessary capital which is needed according to the Bulgarian law is 5000 bg leva, which after the registration is transformed into a company current account and can be withdrawn at any time.There are registration fees including solicitor fees and Governmental fees.

8. Is it safe to invest in Bulgaria? 

Answer: Currently Bulgaria demonstrates stable and predictable macroeconomic climate showing economic growth at 4,5 %, annual inflation 3,8 % and strong growth figures in the tourism industry. Our economy provides the best opportunity for new foreign investors.

9. What are the tendencies on the Real Estate market? 

Answer: Real Estate market in Bulgaria is very dynamic. There are many foreigners visiting Varna, Burgas and Sofia in order to purchase property. People are mostly interested in summer villas outside the towns and new developments in the centre. Also plots of land as an investment. Because of the big demand, prices are going up frequently, but also quality of the buildings is getting much closer to European standards. This is a proposition for high and stable rental income from costal property in Bulgaria.
